DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE:
This course is designed to explore visible thinking routines, and how they can be applied in an early learning program. Participants will define what makes a thinking routine unique, explore and adapt specific visible thinking routines and discuss how these routines can be used in the classroom. Vignettes, reports of classroom observations and recorded examples will serve to focus conversations and provide a starting point for conversations about adapting and adopting routines in participant’s respective contexts and settings. Using the current research, participants will consider the early learning environments as a rich setting for deeper thinking and documentation.

Know where to find different examples of thinking routines.
Discuss examples of how thinking routines are used in early learning classroom setting.
Design/apply visual thinking routines to their own contexts
COMPLETION
Although there are no specified due dates along the way, you have a total of 3 months to complete this course. You may expect about 20-25 hours of combined total engagement time throughout this professional learning course. When you complete the course, you’ll receive an email with a link to download your Record of Completion within 1 week of course completion.
