DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE:
Participants will explore why fostering lifelong competencies is essential and being purposeful about the actions of the teacher in the classroom, can promote and develop timeless competencies. While using current, thought provoking and novel texts (videos, articles, blogs…etc), participants will connect lifelong competencies to their own practices, and consider further steps for action in their respective contexts.

Participants will…
Develop a better understanding of the concept of competency
Understand why lifelong competencies are critical components of a learner’s development.
Explore ways and design strategies to integrate the three core competencies to their own context.
 
COMPLETION
Although there are no specified due dates along the way, you have a total of 3 months to complete this course. You may expect about 20-25 hours of combined total engagement time throughout this professional learning course. When you complete the course, you’ll receive an email with a link to download your Record of Completion within 1 week of course completion.
